How Our Pricing Is Determined
The price of a storage unit isn’t a fixed rate. It’s based on a few key factors that ensure you are getting a fair and competitive price.
- Size of the Unit: As you might expect, a larger unit costs more. However, we price our units on a per-square-foot basis, and typically, the larger the unit, the cheaper the cost per square foot. We want you to find the right size unit from the start, so we offer the flexibility to move to a larger or smaller unit at any time, depending on availability.
- Location and Market Demand: Our Basildon location is competitively priced based on local market conditions and demand. The cost of land, local competition, and other economic factors all play a part in determining the final price.
- Additional Services: We offer optional services like a convenient parcel reception facility, which are available for an extra cost. You will also have a mandatory insurance cost for your stored items. This is a requirement for all reputable self-storage facilities to protect your belongings in the event of an unforeseen incident.
